LGBT Wreath Laying Ceremony, Arlington National Cemetery

LGBT Wreath Laying Ceremony, Arlington National Cemetery

The most moving event during NEM weekend was the wreath laying ceremony at the Tomb of The Unknown Solider. Knights Out, the West Point LGBT alumni organization (which catapulted Lt Dan Choi into the media spot light as an advocate against DADT) dedicated the ceremony for fallen LGBT service members.

We had the opportunity to speak with Andrea Holland, and Sue Fulton co-founders of Knights Out and former Army service members. In listening to Andrea and Sue what becomes so unequivocal in this debate about DADT is how deeply the policy conflicts with the Military's code of honor and duty.
