The National Gallery in London and the National Galleries of Scotland have been trying to raise £50 million to keep Venetian Renaissance painting, Diana and Actaeon by Titian, on view in the National Galleries. The painting has been on loan since 1945 and on view in the Galleries for 200 years. The private owner of the work now needs to sell the masterpiece. The National Galleries have until December 31 to raise the money.

In a campaign to save the national treasure, a handful of contemporary artists have helped raise funds for the museum in various ways. Photographer, Tom Hunter, was asked to join the campaign by recreating Diana and Actaeon in photography.

Hunter chose live models including the very naked Sex In The City star to recreate the mythological scene. At 52, Cattrall managed to hold her own in a room full of 20-somethings. Cattrall said of her participation in the campaign that she has been a great admirer of Titian and that the painting is "like being in the presence of genius... it would be a tragedy if it were not on public view."
