You probably watched Dr. Scout from the Network for LGBT Health Equity at The Fenway Institute proposing to his girlfriend Liz Margolies during President Obama's annual White House LGBT Pride Reception last Friday via YouTube. Margolis, who works at the LGBT Cancer Network, accepted the proposal (obvs!)

The good times did not end there, however, right-wing pundits and conservative douchebags critics sent in their congratulations; Fox's Laura Ingraham tweeted "oh no", American Family Association's Bryan Fischer tweeted "Woman who thinks she's a man proposes to a woman who thinks she's a woman at a White House reception," among many other juvenile gems.

Despite the schoolyard barbs, Dr Scout and Liz Margolis rose to the occasion to humorously rebuke their critics. Class acts. Watch below if you missed the show.
