Friday Follies: Mr. Rogers Autotuned! The greatest music video EVARRRR

Holy multilayered nostalgic auditory stimulation, Batman. PBS has immortalized the late, great Mr. Rogers in the sweet sonic blanket of awesomeness that is AutoTune. Yes. I never even liked Mr. Rogers much as a kid, but I still kind of cried when I watched this. And if you're too young to get nostalgic about Mr. Rogers, that's ok-- I think we can all agree to be nostalgic about AutoTune the News (y'know, it's been two whole years already)!

If ever there was a proper use for digital audio remixing technology, this is it. And you know what, bois & grrlz? We think Mr. Rogers would mos' def approve...and then do an episode going behind the scenes in the sound studio with creator John D. Boswell.

As PBS Digital Studios explains, "Turns out that [Boswell] is a huge Mister Rogers' Neighborhood fan, and was thrilled at the chance to pay tribute to one of our heroes [...] This is the first in a series of PBS icons remixed." Word. We're voting for Ira Glass to go next.
