Did everyone hear that Kristy McNichol "came out" on Friday? I remember watching Empty Nest in the '80s and feeling "funny" whenever she was on camera—BABY-GAYDAR! People ran a story on her decision to come out, and included a pic of her with her partner of two decades, Martie Allen (who weathered the closeted-storm for that long, too). Now, that's love and dedication...and perhaps a few other things:
