SATURDAY

  1. Queering Planning Practice for a More Inclusive City, A Panel Discussion
Hosted by the Pop-up Museum of Queer History, the panel will confront history and practice in regards to urban planning in the city from the perspective of communities experiencing seemingly endless gentrification.  It will also make attendees explore the influence of queer spaces within this narrative, suggesting ways to make planning practices more inclusive and transformative.

    @ The Brooklyn Pride Center

  2. Perros Calientes, a hot dog tasting competition and fundraiser is trying to find the tastiest (and perhaps, weirdest) hot dog in Brooklyn.  Why should you be excited for this competition? BK Queers + Hot Dog fantasies that come in veggie or beef flavors.  If that hasn't convinced you, showing your Perros Caliente stamp will get you discount entrance to AZUCAR's Gothic Cumbia dance party later ($3).

To top off this savory special, all proceeds are go to a fundraiser for 322 Jefferson, a collaborative Brooklyn film project that explores questions of race, class and queer identities in the context of gentrification and youth culture.

$5 to enter and taste the competition.
Beef and Veggie options of course!
