This is the feed I used last year to watch this live. Posting it in the hopes that it will serve all of us faithfully this year, too! ('Cause I hate to break it to you, but this MTV feed is going to cut out as soon as the actual show starts. Ha!)

Um. Yeah. Based on her earlier tweet, we're pretty sure Gaga just showed up on the white carpet escorted by several openly gay US military service people, including (HOLY CRAP!) our very own Private Second Citizen, Katie Miller!

I'd recognize those dress whites anywhere!

Vp's Watching Party will be hosted by Julia Watson and CJ White, and will begin Sunday afternoon during the Red Carpet streaming coverage. The awards ceremony itself starts at 9/8 CT. If you're on the West Coast, you can watch the event streaming live on the interwebs. Links will be posted here as they become available, so watch this space!

Will Kanye and Taylor Swift make nice after last year's EPIC thunder-stealage? Will Gaga and Bey-Bey pull a Sandra/Meryl? (A girl can hope.) Tune in and see for yourself!

I'm gonna have to leave you all soon for the season finale of True Blood. I thought season 4 was airing, but apparently it's season 3, which I am caught up on. And of course it makes sense. It was 2008 when I was emailing Carrie Preston to come talk to SDF about Ready? OK! and she was having trouble working it out because of shooting TB.

FYI, rent Ready? OK! and pay attention to the scene when the uncle (Carrie's real life brother) is talking to the kid in his bedroom to see my tiny contribution. ie; that they reshot the scene based on my recommendation.

Not only was it just a smidge

Not only was it just a smidge better, but since this was Gaga's first (of many) big awards show night, I was really pulling for her to win Video of the Year with something she did all on her own without another big name talent. I still can't believe she SWEPT it though. Every single thing she was up for on the live show, she won! And a bunch of the techie/prof awards, too. Does anyone know yet if she won all 13 she was up for?
