A prominent leader of the Ugandan Anglican church spoke out this week against the death penalty for homosexuals. Canon Gideon Byamugisha said, "I believe that this bill [if passed into law] will be state-legislated genocide against a specific community of Ugandans, however few they may be."
Rachel Maddow continues to cover the link between American congressmen who support the death penalty and the Ugandan Government.

Test Drive
What do you think the chances are that the C Street types are taking this for a test drive in Uganda before the implement it here in the good old US of A? Of course, we'd be able to vote on it state by state.

Sit in?
Maybe we need to stage an action and camp out on their stoop. Anyone know the laws in that part of the country? I so wish I had a job that I could keep if I got arrested.
Disgusting
I particularly enjoy the part of the law that would track gay Ugandans down anywhere in the world and bring them back to face charges.
Won't you be my neighbor? @theKELword
Force their hand
On the plus side, if you can call it that, a request for extradition might force some governments to actually speak up and say Hell NO! Sadly, these days I'm not at all sure ours would.
