I am a big fan of Tig Notaro and tune in to her podcast, "Professor Blastoff," whenever possible. The show, which she co-hosts with fellow comics Kyle Dunnigan and David Huntsberger, focuses in quasi-intellectual issues and is chock-full of wit and charm...and some boob-grabbing.

(Tig measures Sarah Silverman's breasts....I'm thinking a C-cup.)
This morning I began listening to the latest episode on "relationships," always a topic of interest in my life, but the episode began, rather, with Tig's discussion of her most recent health scare: cancer.
Now, Tig Fans worldwide know that the year has been challenging for the shy but funny Tig, with the passing of her mother and her simultaneous battle against a life-threatening virus. On the positive side, she's also landed a new full-time writing gig in NYC, in addition to touring the country, appearing variously on Conan, and making this film about clowns.
Now, cancer?
Listen to Tig recount her experience at the doctor HERE.
Life after 40 is challenging, eh?
