"Story of an Egg" Will Make You Think Twice About That Omlette

The PBS Online Film Festival is quite amazing—who didn't squeal with delight when watching Mr. Lee congregate with the neighborhood kitties in "CatCam"?

But every adorabe kitteh video has its yin...or yang. "Story of An Egg" fills that spot. An exacting, stomach-churning video about egg production and the misnomers "free-range" and "cage-free" will have you thinking twice about ordering that omlette during your Sunday hipster brunch. As someone who has relapsed out of veganism (I'm sad to confess), I find it ethically impossible to validate or approve of eating meat or dairy...especially dairy.

At any rate, here is "Story of an Egg"; check out PBS.org to watch all the films participating in the online film festival.
