Queer nerds and academic trolls are having a virtual freak out—O.O— over the latest interweb discovery: the unearthing of a 1964 book review piece written by future queer theory founder (or so some people say...) Eve Kosofsky Sedgwick for, wait for it, Seventeen Magazine.
The godmother of queer theory and "Jane Austen and the Masturbating Girl" regales us with various delightful reading experiences. She uses "two hankies" to get through Philip Barry's play Hotel Universe...and we can only assume what she used those hankies for.

Check out the entire piece at The Awl—this piece should inspire hope for all you book reviewers (like myself) out there.... Someday you too can turn into a beloved, erudite, terribly shy yet always kind...reclusive, lesbian-averse academic.
