Rachel Maddow Confronts "Ex-Gay" Author Richard Cohen
Rachel Maddow skewered author Richard Cohen on the air tonight over his claims that his organization can turn gay people straight. It turns out that the guy who wrote the gay genocide law in Uganda is using factually redonkulous parts of Cohen's book as part of his "scientific evidence" to prove that gays are a threat to the world's children, but the Maddow wasn't letting him get away with a damn thing in this segment.
I especially like the part where she busted out the big "Are you effing KIDDING ME?!" guns with that "Dude..." Ha! I am officially back in crush with her now. Swoon.

Fanatic fraud making money...
went to his website - dude is wanting money for everything....and is a non-profit organization! Found that out my going down to the bottom of his home page and clicking on the company responsible for the site - charityadvantage.com.
Money! Man and everyone around him are making money off of this - fanatics writing books and taking advantage of other fanatics! Scary part - there are millions of people who believe "if it's written, it's true" - "if it's on the news, it's true"...millions who believe the likes of Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck....
and that Paul Cameron dude mentioned in Cohen's book? Have mercy, that guy is a nutso case - he has even quoted Hitler's Germany and their treatment of homosexuals!
Even IF Cameron's facts were substantiated...a better way to look at his numbers would be:
75% of teachers who committed pupil molestation were HETEROSEXUALS
60% of molestation assaults were made by HETEROSEXUALS

Sure is. Sad. He's been given the gift of life, and this is what he's decided to do with it. His choice though. I could see if it was a lesbian living in Saudi Arabia or Afghanistan - those people are just trying to get through the day. But he isn't. Glad I'm not disrespecting my life that way.

I watched it in real time and got that warm tingly feeling all over. Well, maybe it was more pronounced in some locations. I especially liked the part where she wouldn't let him get around the race thing and then pointed out that he had been ousted from inappropriate relationships with clients and never had a license. I just hope she was kidding about thinking she would be in trouble with the show for it.
