This Friday at 10pm NYC's Fresh Fruit Festival goes "Wild." The Wild Project is hosting a fantastic queer performance show featuring Athens Boys Choir, Aimee Herman, and Samira Obeid.

Written and Performed by Samira Obeid."Some memories never wash away. Instead they become skin."Boxes is a debut spoken word piece that discusses changing identities as defined individually and through the narrow eyes of the world. Smack is an intense, grotesquely intimate encounter between difference and authority.
Athens Boys Choir
Written and Performed by Harvey Katz. "Don't mistake him for that shy and dweeby kid from your Hebrew- school class, because this nice Jewish boy is a transgender powerhouse who can bust some serious Semitic rhymes." -Beth Greenfield, Time Out NY Sept 2008.Athens Boys Choir performs Heart-On-The-Sleeve Gay-In-The- Pants spoken word and homo-hop with multimedia for that visual flair. The name Athens Boys Choir can be a bit deceiving but you can't blame a Jewish Transsexual man living in the Deep South for having a sense of humor about the whole ordeal.
