Presidential Debate 1: "Where Was Obama?!?!"

I was sitting on a train for the duration of the first presidential debate (thanks NJTransit!), but I kept apprised of the debate's ongoings thanks to Twitter. Apparently Jim Lehrer was an ineffective moderator (to say the least); apparently, no one called out Mitt Romney for his blatant lies and exaggerations; apparently Mitten's loves Big Bird (but hates PBS, which receives a whopping 0.038% of the federal budget) and his new slogan is "Nevermind"; and apparently President Obama didn't show up last night. Who can blame him? This election is tres boring and it was his 20th wedding anniversary—the man knows his priorities.

Still, left-leaning "elites" (aka people who think critically and intelligently) were pissed off with the President's performance, including Chris Matthews, who awesomely unfurls his critique on the President in this post-debate clip:
