I hope you and your roommate turn out to be compatible.  I lived alone for 10 years and then had a roomie for 4.  We got along just fine.  Didn't really see much of each other, but when we did we had a similar sense of humor which really helped.  Now I'm living alone again for the past year and enjoying that as well.  Oh, except for the increased housing costs.

last book purchased: Under the Dome by Stephen King...at 1074 pages it'll take a month to read it...I'll let you know about the Zen part
