Rover, pick up your dog poo!

Rover, pick up your dog poo! I don't want to walk in it. Thus spake Minnie. Smile

missing the point, Minn. one

missing the point, Minn.

one - you won't walk in it if you open your eyes and become aware and see it. and two - if you teach kids to not poke their fingers in it - they won't.

I've said this before, shit is a natural part of the cycle and a natural part of the ecosystem. So is death.

healthy alive ground is made from fecal and death along with parasites and micro-organisms.

people have a problem with this. we want everything to be free of all bad things and clear and clean and safe....

I soooooo agree with you

I soooooo agree with you Lezbeth. There is no excuse for anyone not picking up their dogs pile of poo poo. Hell, I ride my horse on the beach, and I pick up after him!! I can't even imagine allowing my dog, or horse, to poop and not pick it up. Ewwww......

This just seems like common sense.

Lezbeth's picture

That horse poo must require

That horse poo must require one hella big plastic bag!

yeah big Wow thats what i

yeah big Wow thats what i thought to.

you know as much as i often dislike the Internet or perhaps i should say the content these days on the net.
its amazingly skilled talented passionated extraordinarily art / stuff / people and things like this that remind me of the potential and the beautifulness of this medium to.

and that goes not just for this kind of art art but also for art in general
for writings / poems / music and anything that is created with love and devotion and determination.

the best that can happen is when its done by so called ordinary people that are not famous or well known for it(yet) and maybe never might be (and who most would never excpected it from)

to see that talent and gifted people are everywhere and that they are willing to share
and no i do not believe it is showing of (and even if that would be part of a reason to then i would be oke with it to after all i think deep down it is in human nature to to find some sort of fulfillment and recognition etc.)

its little things like this that brighten my day and i am thank full for it and them!

pfffffffff
done rambling

Hummm.... Etiquette, great

Hummm.... Etiquette, great topic Kit. I'd have to say cell phones in restaurants. Turn them off, go outside, put them on vibrate, but... don't talk on them in a restaurant. That is so incredibly rude to others.

Robin Rigby's picture

The push-to-talk phones are

The push-to-talk phones are the most annoying. I don't care about cells in restaurants a long as you keep your voice at a conversational level instead of doing the cellphone shout.

K I T's picture

i bet you use the vibrate

i bet you use the vibrate ?
winks

fact that something might be rude etc not means one needs a etiquette for it or so i think
there plenty of stuff that people could or perhaps should do without even thinking of it because it should be logical and or natural

Robin Rigby's picture

But that is precisely what

But that is precisely what etiquette is- showing respect for other people by treating them the way you wish to be treated.

Erin Blackwell's picture

i believe etiquette is

i believe etiquette is actually crowd control, devised by louis xiv to rein them all in at versailles. zen works the same way: concentrate on the details of the ritual

Steph H's picture

Oooh, I've already had my one

Oooh, I've already had my one rule but lateness is something I really struggle with. Call me old fashioned but when you say you are going to meet someone at a certain time, that's the time you should be there, barring a legitimate emergency.

Robin Rigby's picture

I hate it when people are

I hate it when people are late. It shows a lack of respect for the person you're keeping waiting.

Steph H's picture

Sorry, I'm on one now but I

Sorry, I'm on one now but I couldn't agree more with you!
I've had some rather heated conversations with friends about this very issue.
