I saw enough of the first flick in the Twilight series on Showtime last weekend to finally get all of Julia's snark about 'sparkly vampires'. I emailed to tell her I finally got it & that it was ridiculous. Vampires are supposed to be sexy because they're scary. These vampires are about as scary as Count Chocula. And about as sexy. Ugh.

Lake took on the midnight Twilight...she was texting me the whole time she was in line to get in....woman doesn't do well in hetero teeny bopper crowds apparently! heheheheheheeee and like the rest of the adult world, doesn't really know why vampires now have sparkles. Me? I think the sparkles are def for the 'bopper crowd. You know, their attention spans aren't really great - they don't have to pay close attention - they know who the vampires are by the sparkles...and they loooooooove sparkles! Which could bring me back to something I saw on babeland.com the other night, but I won't go there while talking about teens!
