The 20th Annual NYC Dyke March, which takes place 23 June at 5pm, is hosting quite a few pre-March events in the next couple of weeks. Proceeds go directly towards keeping the NYC Dyke March loud, visible, and reoccurring.
One event that you should not miss is this Saturday's benefit show, featuring Mitten (Brooklyn synth-pop), Allison Weiss (feelings and adventures from Brooklyn), Julia Weldon (queer folk-pop from Brooklyn), and Sierra (folk-influenced pop/rock from Boston).
I recommend stopping by our publisher Grace Moon's loft to get your photo did during Bushwick's Open Studios Weekend first and then hitting the benefit show. (Because, just as Girls proved the other night, who doesn't go to Bushwick?)

The deets:
Saturday, 2 June, 3-6pm
Public Assembly
70 N. 6th Street (b/w Kent and Wythe)
BROOKLYN

To celebrate the 20th NYC Dyke March, the Dyke March committee hopes to see at least 20,000 dykes marching down Fifth Avenue on June 23. Help make this possible by attending the events and spreading the word! Check out the Dyke March's Twitter & Facebook pages.
