Lesbian Dinner Party? "One Table" Hits the Spot

Tired of going to loud, dingy bars where the drinks and the conversation are both subpar? A monthly dinner party for lesbians is coming to Brooklyn. "One Table," the brainchild of Betsy Devine and Deanna Maher, will host its inaugural meal this coming Monday, 24 Sept. Details below—enjoy!

WHEN: Monday, September 24, 2012

WHERE: Lunetta 116 Smith Street Brooklyn, NY Backyard/Indoors if raining                                 

TIME: Cocktails at 8:00pm 

COST: $65 per ticket, which buys pre-dinner snacks and bites, pre-dinner cocktails, a family style dinner (see menu below), post-dinner cocktails, and service

TICKETS: To purchase tickets, simply email onetablebrooklyn@gmail.com. One Table will return emails with all the necessary information and a means to pay through paypal. No money is needed on the night.

Pre and post-dinner cocktails by Nekisia Davis of franny’s/Early Bird Granola fame

Grilled bread with ricotta/chicken liver/eggplant

Goat cheese fritters with lavender and honey

Trisciuts with smoked blue fish and salted red onions

Hand sliced jamon 

Beer-battered fall squash

Kale salad with pecorino, lemon and garlic

Orecchiette with red sauce, shrimp and white anchovy

Whole roasted catch of the day Porchetta

Fried fingerlings with lemon and parmesan

Smokey stewed beans

Swiss chard gratin
