Kristen Stewart Puts her Pussy to the Wood Joan Jett Style

Our “little Shane,” Kristen Stewart, casts off the vampire sensationalism of Twilight, to strap it on and rock a mullet for the movie, The Runaways, chronicling the notorious all-female rock band and premiering at Sundance to rave reviews. Kristen finally gets past lusting over blood thirsty vampire/wolf boys (for now, anyway) to play original rocker-dyke icon, Joan Jett!

The film, co-staring Dakota Fanning as lead vocalist Cherie Currie, revolves around, Jett and Currie’s turbulent relationship on and off stage.

Stewart and Fanning got to learn the basics of performing from the icon herself. According to The Vancouver Sun, Joan Jett‘s candid instruction to Kristen was to "Put your pussy to the wood! Fuck your guitar!" 

So in the midst of all the pussy on wood, it seems we also get to see a little girl-on-girl make out session between Kristen and fellow Twilight co-star, Dakota Fanning.   

According to SheWired.com, Stewart downplayed the kissing scene by saying, "People are always going to find the weird, buzz-worthy thing about a movie and run with it. I don't think it's really relevant. It's not a romantic relationship. They are best friends and a fleeting love story, and they both realize it. They see it's cool right now... but they don't even talk about it afterwords."

Wait, it wasn’t a romantic relationship, but a fleeting love story about a lesbian and her “best friend” that just happened to make out a lot? OMG that sounds like most of the “friendships” I’ve ever had! So, um, how about you, Kristen, do you make out with your “friends,” too? Inquiring gay minds wanna know, girl… Or do know, but are just eager to hear you finally let your mouth say it.

The movie is directed by Floria Sigismondi, who adapted the screenplay from Currie’s memoir, and is set to release March 19th. Most small towns are weird about selling Skittles at their theaters, so for you unfortunate folks in middle America suburbia, you might have to travel 2-3 hours to the nearest big city to watch it or just wait for the DVD.
