Go Brooklyn Art: Jessica Cohen
Organic and eerie, Invasion of the Body Snatchers-type figures creep, leap and stalk Jessica Cohen's imagination. Fashioned and fired out of clay these gender-bending gender-blending humanoids, and zoomorphic road kill will be sure to capture your imagination too.
As a 2010 grad from the University of the Arts in Philidephia, Cohen has made ClaySpace in Greenpoint home for her ceramic art production.
Visit Jessica's clay studio as part of Brooklyn Museum's GOBrooklynArt where 18,500 artists open their studios to the public Sept 8th & 9th.
