Take one of my fave Stones songs of all time, add in the inside joke of Lea Michele performing the Streisand song that Idina Menzel botched at last year's Kennedy Center honors, and, to borrow a phrase from Julia Watson, I nearly squeed myself!
For those outside the USA or too young to remember- Moonlighting was an 80s show with Cybill Shephard and Bruce Willis. It basically launched Bruce's career. Anyhow, their characters flirted a lot and eventually the writers le them consummate thie flirtation. The ratings tanked as soon as they hooked up. Sine then several shows have failed when characters' relationships moved from flirting to actual dating or sex.
I say no, because Schuester and Emma's attraction isn't the linchpin of the show, the way Dave and Maddie's was. It's only one of many subplots, and I don't feel particularly invested in the outcome. Plus, the chemistry between Em and Schu is rather contrived, whereas with Dave and Maddie it was so there.
It's called the Moonlighting curse because that was the first (or most famous) example but plenty of other shows have either fallen prey to it (The X Files, much as they tried to pretend they hadn't with the alien baby conspiRacy) or have taken great pains to avoid it (Bones).

Britana
Anyone want to speculate about what will happen with Britana when Glee comes back?

yep
The judges' deliberations were spot on. When I was on the debate team that's pretty much how I pictured it went on behind the scenes.
Overall I loved the production numbers and that Mercedes got her chance to blow everyone away.
