Daily Dose: Ale-Alejandro

Daily Dose: Ale-Alejandro

Did you catch Gaga's performance of "Alejandro" last night on American Idol? Wanna see the full, unedited performance? (More fishnets and black lace! More monster paw! More giant statuary angel SHOOTING FIRE!)

It occurs to me that Ale-Alejandro could be a play on Ale-Alelu(jah). Or, you know, not. Anyone else care to delve into the cryptic depths of Gaga's lyrics?

I never have any idea what Gaga is driving at with her lyrics and video.  All I can say is that the music and rhymes vaguely remind me of ABBA's "Fernando", though I am pretty sure this song has nothing to do with that at all!

I'd guess he was playing along/playing at being upset and there was no feud. He's been on her show a bunch of times- they're friends as far as I know.

Yeah, I think I know the moment Moon is referencing and it all seemed like playful banter to me too. He's a notorious prankster/joker kinda guy. (As seen in his interaction with the contestants.)

Playful bantering!

Both from NO and supposedly good friends like Lisa-L said.

American Idol  is on my shit list for messing up my Glee recording 2 weeks in a row. If I watched it would boycott.

**off gaga topic**

i have an idol question.

I caught a second of idol last night and Harry Connick Jr had some words for Ellen.

Looked like there was some sort of feud going on. Anyone know what the deal between them is?

Ellen started it

It's play. Ellen made and obviously joking comment HC when he was on Tuesday's show. You would have to have seen it to understand her mock offended look following his banter this week. I think she is sort of making fun of Simon with the tongue in cheek offensive comments. Which is much more fun than early on when she was making comments about the 2 of them being lovers.
