Friend of Velvetpark Kerry Eleveld has done some great reporting for The Advocate on the current status of Don't Ask, Don't Tell: "Repealing 'don’t ask, don’t tell' will likely be included as part of next year’s Department of Defense authorization bill in both chambers of Congress, Congressman Barney Frank, a Massachusetts Democrat, said Wednesday."

Might be a good thing
to repeal DADT and DOMA in the same week; otherwise, we're going to have some conflicting ideals via the federals.
