Chaz Bono Speaks About His Transition

Tonight Chaz Bono will be speaking about his transition to Mary Hart on ET. Here is a little peak at the upcoming interview, I think its pretty awesome. Coming out is an awesome processes and its hard not to get teary when you see someone doing it. I still can't get over the fact Cher kicked Chaz out of the house at the age of 18 when he first came out as lesbian.

Question:

why ET of all shows? ...

Remember when that show was high quality? (back in the 80's) ... now it's exploitative of d-listers and Octomom.

They were obviously schooled by someone to use the right terms, as they are not usually that sensitive.

I hope Chaz, Cher & (brother) Elijah Blue talk to Oprah.

The first thing I thought when I heard him speak was that he sounded like Sonny.  Funny that Harry said the same thing. Good luck to him.  I am so impressed with his bravery, being in the public eye as he is.

Wow

Knowing how terrifying it was to come out NOT having famous parents and being under a microscope - I can't even imagine what kind of stark white terror he must have felt knowing that there would be a WHOLE lot more people scrutinizing his every decision and word that came from his mouth.

I think the reporters were very sensitive in not muddling gender references too, calling him HE and not SHE.

Glad his family is supporting him now and I wish him all the best.
