If you found yourself wandering across the web in the great lesbian diaspora, let me welcome you here, oh weary traveler. Velvetpark is a dedicated portal for lesbians, women or male-identified queers, andros, bis, gays and whatever other term you choose to embrace in your travels through the Interwebs.

Velvetpark is a work in progress. We are currently in the planning stages of building out a complete community network. This takes time and resources. What we do currently have available is a lively group of dedicated bloggers who promise to inspire, if not incite you. (I kid, sort of.) Miss The L Word community? The first wave of immigrants who arrived here from OurChart found a quiet little town with a few holdouts from our founding many years ago. In a few short months, the new settlers helped build a vibrant blogosphere and community. Their generous donations have kept things going.
